Who we are

Paisa on Moon is an independent educational community and affiliate partner of Moon.com. This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what choices you have. Questions can be sent through our contact page.

What we collect

Email address — when you subscribe to the free guides or community updates. We also store which page the subscription came from and the date, so we know which guides people find useful.

Account details — if you create an account or sign in with Google, we receive your email address, your display name and, where Google supplies it, your profile picture. We never receive or store your Google password.

Questions you type into the Ask page — the text of your question is processed so an AI model can answer it from our published guides.

Anonymous click measurement — when you click a banner or link to Moon.com we record which banner it was, the page it sat on, the broad device type (phone, tablet or desktop), the referring site and the time, together with a random anonymous id stored in your browser so repeat clicks are not double counted.

Standard server logs — our hosting provider records ordinary technical request data needed to serve and secure the site.

What we do not collect

We do not store your name, email address or IP address alongside click measurement data. We do not collect payment details — we never take payments on this site. We do not collect trading account balances, deposits or positions; those stay with Moon.com.

To let you sign in, save guides and use the member dashboard.

To answer your questions on the Ask page.

To understand which pages, guides and banners are useful, so we can improve the site.

To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

Who your data is shared with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is handled only by the service providers who run this site on our behalf: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google), and the AI provider that generates answers on the Ask page. Each processes data only to deliver that function.

When you click through to Moon.com you leave this site. What Moon.com collects is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours. We may receive aggregated, non-identifying reports about referred activity from their affiliate programme.

Cookies and browser storage

We use browser storage for two things: keeping you signed in if you have an account, and the random anonymous id used to avoid double counting banner clicks. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage removes the anonymous id and signs you out.

How long we keep it

Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Account data is kept while your account exists and is removed when you ask us to close it. Click measurement records are anonymous and kept in aggregate for analysis. Questions sent to the Ask page are not tied to your identity.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Write to us through the contact page and we will act within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Prediction markets are not for minors and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

Data is stored with a managed database provider using encrypted connections and access controls. Only site administrators can view subscriber lists, and administrative pages are hidden from search engines and require sign-in.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
