Moon.com tutorial · video walkthrough

How to use Moon.com

Three short videos take you from opening the app to placing and closing your first bet, and then to the community tools. Watch each clip, then repeat the same steps with the smallest wager you can.

Step 01

Explore assets

Browse and search the assets available to bet on, 24/7. Switch between recently viewed assets, customise chart timeframes, and change chart styles with a single click. Spend your first session here — get comfortable reading the chart before any money is on the line.

  • Use the search to jump straight to the asset you actually follow.
  • Set a timeframe that matches your holding period, not the fastest one on screen.
  • Recently viewed makes it quick to rotate between two or three markets you know.

Step 02

How to place and sell your first bet

Enter your wager amount, select your leverage, choose your direction and send it. From there you can monitor your open profit and loss live, and close the bet at any time to lock in a profit or cut a loss. Your wager is your maximum loss on that trade, and a 1% open fee is charged on the wager when the bet opens.

  • Start with the smallest wager the platform allows while you learn the flow.
  • Low leverage first — higher leverage brings the liquidation price closer to your entry.
  • Decide your exit before you send it, then close manually when it hits.

Step 03

Community features

See what the community sentiment is on different assets, watch the real-time bet feed, check the leaderboards and follow other users. Moon Sentiment is based on how many open bets sit Up versus Down right now — useful context on positioning, not a forecast.

  • Treat sentiment as one input among several, never as a signal on its own.
  • The live feed shows real sizes and outcomes — a fast reality check on leverage.
  • Follow a few consistent traders rather than the biggest single win on the board.

Common questions

What do I need before placing my first bet on Moon.com?

An account created with code PAISA, a funded balance in crypto, and a clear idea of the wager size you are comfortable losing. Read the terms guide first if wager, leverage and liquidation are new words.

Can I close a bet before the market moves against me?

Yes. Open bets can be closed at any time to lock in profit or cut a loss — you are not locked in until settlement.

How much leverage should a beginner use?

As little as possible at first. Leverage does not raise your maximum loss, but it shortens the distance to liquidation, so small moves end trades faster.

What fee is charged when I open a bet?

A 1% opening fee on your wager amount — not on your leveraged exposure — and it is shown on the wager summary before you confirm.

How does code PAISA fit in?

Applied at signup, code PAISA returns 3.5% of your trading fees for life. It cannot be added to an existing account.

Ready to try it yourself?

Create your account with code PAISA and 3.5% of every trading fee comes back to you automatically, for life.
